Alexandra Riha Coaching is committed to providing quality services to you and this policy outlines our ongoing obligations to you in respect of how we manage your Personal Information. We have adopted the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). The APPs govern the way in which we collect, use, disclose, store, secure and dispose of your Personal Information. We use trusted third-party service providers to facilitate our operations, including Wix for website hosting, Simply.Coach for coaching platform management, MailerLite for email newsletters and marketing, various payment processors, and analytics tools such as Google and LinkedIn. Some of these providers, including MailerLite, may store or process your information on servers located outside Australia (for example, in the European Union or the United States).
2. Collection of Personal Information
Personal Information is information or an opinion that identifies an individual. Examples of Personal Information we collect include names, addresses, email addresses, and phone numbers. This Personal Information is obtained in many ways including interviews, correspondence, by telephone and facsimile, by email, via our website, from your website, from media and publications, from other publicly available sources, from cookies and via third parties such as LinkedIn. We collect your Personal Information for the primary purpose of providing our services to you, providing information to our clients and marketing. If you subscribe to our newsletter or request free resources by email (for example, our Flourishing Sparks), we collect your email address to send you the content you requested and occasional related updates. We use MailerLite to manage these emails and apply double opt-in: you confirm your subscription via a link in a confirmation email before receiving anything further. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, and using our free resources never requires you to subscribe.

3. Email Marketing and Newsletter
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and equivalent laws give you certain rights over your personal data. For these purposes, Alexandra Riha Coaching is the data controller.
Lawful bases. We process your personal data based on: your consent (for example, when you subscribe to our newsletter or free resources); the performance of a contract (when you engage our coaching services); and our legitimate interests in operating and promoting our business, where not overridden by your rights.
Your rights. You have the right to access, correct, update or delete your personal data; to restrict or object to our processing; to request portability of your data; and to withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect processing carried out beforehand). International transfers. Because we use providers such as MailerLite and Wix, your data may be transferred to and stored in countries outside the EEA. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled securely and in line with this policy and applicable safeguards.
Complaints. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority if you believe your data has not been handled appropriately.
